Imagine A Way stands in the gap
to support families of children with autism
who are in need of, but cannot afford, critical therapeutic services.
We imagine a world
where every family challenged with autism is encouraged and empowered,
and every child with autism is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Imagine A Way provides ongoing financial support for therapies and a network of resources to families with children between the ages of 2 – 7 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We believe all children should have the chance to reach their full potential. While the cause is still unknown, early intervention is regarded as one of the most influential factors for the successful socialization and development of children with autism.
For parents who cannot financially afford the treatments, limited resources may mean the difference in reaching, or losing, their child. Imagine A Way gives parents a lifeline for their child.
What We Provide
Depending on the unique needs of the child, IAW will help fund some or all of the proven therapies prescribed for the child, including but not limited to:
Autism treatment programs are expensive… even with insurance coverage, Copays and out-of-pocket expenses can be overwhelming.
In Austin, the cost of 6 hours of therapy each week (3 each of speech and occupational) is $36,000. ABA therapy averages between $35-$50 per hour, with most children requiring 12-20 hours of ABA per week. Many families simply cannot afford these therapies.
Parents shouldn’t have to embark on this journey worrying about whether they’re able to afford treatments that are proven to help their child. But for many, that is exactly where they find themselves.
Imagine A Way stands in the gap to support the families of children with autism who are in need of, but cannot afford, critical therapeutic services.
