Meet Kyle Wakefield

Speaking at this year’s Gala is Ole’ Miss’ very own, Kyle Wakefield

Kyle Wakefield is from Katy, Texas and a current 2024/2025 senior at University of Mississippi majoring in Journalism. On campus, Kyle is actively involved with Ole Miss Men’s Basketball as a senior manager for which he is responsible for tasks ranging from laundry to setting up practices, securing meals and preparing for recruit visits. On game days you can see Kyle on the sidelines in his most impactful job of bringing the energy and crowd participation. He most recently interned with Ole Miss Athletics where they had the opportunity to write and publish articles. Kyle intends to work in the sports industry after graduation to follow his passion of inspiring others in a positive and energetic manner that impacts winning. Kyle is also a founding member of his fraternity Delta Tau Delta Pi Chapter at University of Mississippi established in 2021.
