Does your child qualify?

To qualify for sponsorship:

• To apply for a central Texas grant, your family must live in the Central Texas Region in one of the following counties: Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Bell, Bosque, Brazos, Burleson, Burnet, Blanco, Caldwell, Coryell, Falls, Fayette, Freestone, Grimes, Hamilton, Hill, Lampasas, Lee, Leon, Limestone, Llano, Madison, McLennan, Mills, Mason, Milam, Robertson, San Saba, Washington
• To apply for a Houston grant, your family must live in the Houston Region in one of the following counties: Harris, Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller, Wharton
• Child must be between the ages of 2 and 6.
• Child must have a documented Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis from a psychiatrist, psychologist, developmental pediatrician, neurologist or neuropsychologist.
• Family income must be above the current qualifying amount for children’s Medicaid in Texas and less than $125,000/year. If there are 2 children qualifying, the income limit is $150,000. Visit the Texas Medicaid website if unsure. 
• If approved for an Imagine A Way grant, you must agree to allow your child's photo to be used in social media posts and other platforms in order to promote fundraising for the organization.

Due to HIPAA privacy laws, a waiver must be signed enabling IAW to communicate with your child’s medical team regarding their autism diagnosis and therapies. This waiver must be acknowledged and accepted before online access to the application will be granted.  

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted online. Complete the Imagine A Way Application below. Please ensure your family meets the qualifications listed prior to submitting the application. Please complete the application in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be considered. If a field does not apply, complete the field with N/A. IAW will accept applications at any time, but can only sponsor as many children as finances allow.
