Does your child qualify?

IAW is a charitable organization located in Austin, Texas. To qualify for sponsorship, your family must live in Travis or Williamson County or one of the Central Texas counties that borders Travis or Williamson Counties.

Child must be between the ages of 2 and 6.

Child must have an official signed Autism diagnosis from a pediatrician or neurologist. Family income must be above the current qualifying amount for children’s Medicaid in Texas and less than $90,000/year. If there are 2 children qualifying, the income limit is $125,000. See this Medicaid Income Chart if unsure.

Transportation to and from all therapy sessions will be the responsibility of the family. The child may not miss more than two scheduled therapy sessions per month without 48 hours notification to clinic or IAW support may be suspended.

Families for final considerations will be required to provide additional financial information to validate need.

Due to HIPPA privacy laws, a waiver must be signed enabling IAW to communicate with your child’s medical team regarding their autism diagnosis and therapies. This waiver must be acknowledged and accepted before online access to the application will be granted.

If IAW sponsors your child, we will ask you to sign a a HIPPA release granting IAW the ability to share your child’s story and pictures with our supporters and donors.

How to Apply

Applications may be submitted by mail. Download and complete the Imagine A Way Application and mail it to the address at the end of the application. If you need an application mailed to you, email your request to or call 512-220-4324. Please ensure your family meets the qualifications listed below prior to submitting the application.  Please complete the application in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be considered.  If a field does not apply, complete the field with N/A. IAW will accept applications at any time, but can only sponsor as many children as finances allow.
